TSI is a global leader in providing critical systems and solutions to protect people and products.  TSI’s Contamination Control group provides specialized particle counters for classifying and monitoring cleanrooms as well as counting total and viable particles in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments to reduce aseptic interventions. In addition to the above, TSI pairs its particle counters with additional environmental sensors to create complete environmental monitoring systems’ solutions.

The individual will support an assigned territory including WA, OR, CA, NV, ID, UT, MT, WY, AK, Western Canada.

 

 What Will You Do?

  • Identify, develop and close new sales opportunities.
  • Service and support installed base of existing customers.
  • Cultivate new customer relationships through lead follow-up and business development.
  • Attend and actively participate (as a speaker/presenter) in appropriate conferences and tradeshows.
  • Work collaboratively with TSI’s application engineers, service technicians, other TSI sales teams in Europe and Asia Pacific to leverage relations and sell solutions.
  • Provide monthly forecast and commentary, actively document sales activity and opportunity pipeline in Salesforce and use such tools for analysis, administrative responsibilities, expense management, and territory planning.
  • Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

What Do You Need?

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of +5 years technical sales experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding individual sales targets.
  • Proficiency in customer management software (SAP CRM or Salesforce).
  • Experience developing and maintaining effective sales strategies.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales scenarios with multiple buying influences and levels of purchasing approval.
  • Robust understanding of selling capital equipment and software to an industrial customer base in the pharmaceutical, semiconductor, electronics, automotive, battery or aerospace industries.

 Desired

  • Cleanroom, Semiconductor or Pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Experience selling systems which include software and hardware components.
  • Working knowledge of clean spaces, cleanroom design and cleanroom operation.
  • Participation in industry associations such as ISPE, PDA, Semi.org and technical committees.
  • Formal sales training in complex selling environments (i.e., Miller Heiman Strategic and Conceptual Selling, Challenger or similar).

*Travels ~50-60% to meet with customers, attend conferences, trade shows etc.
