KR-Service Technician II

JOB SUMMARY
The Service Technician is responsible for the Service, Repair and Calibration of Fit Test instruments, Particle Counters, Environmental Sensors, Sound meters and Ventilation instruments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform evaluation, check-in of the customers’ instruments on arrival
2. Keeps records, both in SAP and other systems, of all operations carried out
3. Carry out service, repairs and calibrations to customers’ instruments following in-house work procedures
4. Issues calibration certificates, delivery notes. Packing and liaise with customer, courier companies for instrument returns upon completion of work
5. Perform field service, installation and training when required
6. Develop proficiency with the use of specialized tools and test equipment
7. Good interpersonal and communication skills (requires interaction with customers)
8. Analytical ability and interest in learning new technologies
9. Able to work independently as required
10. Completes other assignments and special projects as requested.
11. Required to work overtime in case of urgent business demands.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and lead TSI service team member to perform their assigned duties and tasks. Communicate to Service Manager and other stakeholders on the performance of the Korea service operation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education
Required
Technical Certification in Electronics & Electrical
Desired
Diploma
2. Experience
Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience as a Calibration/ Field Service Technician working with Industrial Instrumentations
3. Knowledge of
Desired
Knowledge and experience in Electronics application added advantage
SAP applications added advantage
Previous experience working with Electrical, Electronics and/or Mechanical instrumentation would be highly preferred
