Regional Sales Manager I

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Contamination Control is responsible for the sales and market development of TSI Contamination Control instruments and software systems in China.  In close coordination with supervisor, the RSM plans and implements sales and technical support strategies to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction results that are consistent with TSI’s business goals. 

The successful candidate must be a disciplined self-starter capable of selling technical products, innovative in acquiring and retaining customers, able to build rapport with customers, disciplined in time management and the use of customer relationship management tools. The job requires traveling throughout China 40% to 60% of the time.



  1. Responsible for sales and market development of Contamination Control instruments and systems.  Special attention will be given to pursuing multinational companies in electronic industry, including semiconductor and flat panel display industry, requiring the RSM to collaborate with American colleagues in the development of account strategies, concentrating in the electronics market
  2. Implement TSI’s sales plan and strategic sales process to achieve sales targets. Responsible for customer cultivation, quotation and the whole sales process to close orders in a timely manner
  3. To ensure customer satisfaction and effective execution of the sales plan, regular reviews with supervisor are required including forecasts, activities, competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback
  4. Develop and execute innovative sales and marketing campaigns to acquire and retain customers.
  5. Visit customers for applications consultations, product demonstrations, presentations, installations and training.
  6. Remain current with regard to in-depth product knowledge and competitors weaknesses.
  7. Provide market feedback to various stakeholders and highlight competitive concerns to the team.
  8. Meet requirements of updating account & contact information, opportunities and activities in Salesforce system.
  9. Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

1. Education:

Required:  Bachelor of Science, Engineering or related discipline

Desired:  Master's degree


2. Experience:

5+ years of sales experience selling machinery and/or system products into electronic and semiconductor.
