Director of Information Systems at TSI
This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual interested in applying their information technology skills to help protect the safety of people, the quality of manufactured products, and the health of the environment. TSI produces a broad range of precision instruments across an array of interesting market applications. The Director of Information Systems will play a crucial role in developing digital solutions that support our SaaS product offerings, internal business IT operations, and information systems.
The Director of Information Systems will manage a team of IT professionals that oversees our internal business systems and software applications, as well as our internal IT support function. They will collaborate with cross-functional business leaders to improve the efficiency and utility of our operations. Their strategic vision will add new workflow automation and agentic AI tools to both improve workforce productivity and increase customer satisfaction.
The Director of Information Systems will also work with Product and Engineering Managers to develop supporting infrastructure for our SaaS offerings. They will oversee development of ITSM tools built from Microsoft Office/Fabric, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will:
System/Network Administration
- Manage technical teams to deliver business solutions that support our defined corporate strategies.
- Ensure the integrity and security of all systems and data. Monitor that the IT team is responsive to outages and other issues. Enforce security measures to safeguard systems and networks.
- Be responsible for all aspects of system and network administration, including routers, firewalls, servers, computers, hardware/software, data recovery and backup.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Enterprise Systems
- Advise technical solutions to integrate our existing functional systems. Recommend upgrades or retirement of business systems as necessary.
- Create Power BI dashboards to provide business intelligence from underlying business systems.
- Evaluate AI-based solutions that increase our efficiency, grow new revenue, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Work with engineers and product managers to develop strategic internal support systems for our SaaS software offerings.
- Direct the roadmap for all enterprise software applications, tools, utilities required to govern, manage, and secure those systems.
Leadership and Direction
- Challenge each individual to elevate their performance and implement process improvements and changes that drive greater impact.
- Develop internal talent by creating and executing development plans that provide opportunities for employees to learn, grow and gain greater skills and knowledge.
- Set and communicate expectations for employees; monitor ongoing performance and give recognition when appropriate. Take corrective action when necessary. Conduct performance reviews in a timely manner for all members of the team. Recognize employees for performance which meets or exceeds objectives.
- Establish and maintain department budgets.

What Do You Need?
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years IT management experience with at least 5 years in a strategic business leadership role
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business analytics platform
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and security protocols
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired
- Master’s degree or MBA
- Experience with SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office platforms

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $210,000 - $230,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
