HR Coordinator at TSI
The HR Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the human resources department. This position performs various administrative tasks related to areas of onboarding/offboarding, payroll, employee relations, record keeping, event planning, compliance, and other special projects. This position works closely with the Shoreview HR team and serves as a key contact for employees to answer questions regarding HR policies, and programs.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. Must be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the daily tasks of HR operations is completed. To succeed in this role, candidate should be familiar using HR software and tools, maintain positive employee relations approach and have good organizational and time management skills.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will:
Administrative Support
- Greet employees and act as main contact in HR office for employees by answering questions and requests related to attendance, payroll, benefits, onboarding, HR systems and programs.
- Process all HR system changes for new hires, terminations and other employee changes as well as work in collaboration with the Payroll Specialist to ensure timely and accurate bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Provide administrative support to the department by filing documents into appropriate employee files, maintaining compliance of I-9 documentation, managing department mail, employment verifications and other miscellaneous requests.
- Co-lead and facilitate new hire orientation for full-time and temporary employees.
- Collaborate with HR team on various topics and initiatives including employee relations, engagement, compensation, recognition and performance management.
- Act as a SharePoint Champion for the corporate HR site in keeping the tools and resources updated.
- Schedule and arrange logistics for Human Resources staff meetings and other meetings and seminars.
- Process and allocate all HR invoices received and submit documentation to Finance team.
- Order onboarding, office and event supplies and maintain department supply area.
HR Programs
- Administer HR programs related to education assistance, recognition, retirement, student scholarships, etc.
- Offer recommendations as the program administrator to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently for all involved.
- Manage approvals from Senior level leaders and track all updates to align with annual program budget.
- Coordinate with employees and managers to provide necessary documents and updates on all HR program related requests.
Event Planning
- Serves as point-person for planning all company-wide activities while maintaining annual event budget.
- Organizes various community outreach activities such as blood drives, foodshelf/clothing donations, giving trees, etc.
Compliance
- Assist in the annual compliance and regulatory reporting processes including Affirmative Action Plans (AAP), and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and reporting requirements.
- Responsible for completing all employment verifications according to policy.
- Perform a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records while maintaining a high standard of compliance and confidentiality.
Other
- Provide back-up support to the front desk staff as needed to answer phones, and greet incoming guests.
- Collaborate with other HR team members on projects, initiatives or other duties as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
What Do You Need?
Required
- Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant work experience
or - Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline with 0+ years of relevant work experience

Pay & Benefits: Competitive market salary from $50,000 - $56,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
