What you’ll gain:

As a Product Manager Marketing Intern at TSI, you will work closely with the marketing team on a variety of projects to gain relevant experience in the current job market. Some of these projects may include:

  • Helping define, implement and maintain the overall product marketing strategy for assigned product lines (product, price, promotion, and channel). 
  • Analyzing market drivers, technology developments, intellectual property landscape, regulatory drivers, and competitor posturing of assigned product line segments. 
  • Assisting with developing business cases for identified opportunities including revenue potential, market risks and uncertainties, and collaborating with engineering and sales to develop ROI estimates for recommended product/service proposals.
  • Evaluating adjacent and new market segments for assigned value stream(s).  Assisting with developing market segment revenue potential. 
  • Conducting and coordinating market research, competitive assessments, and Voice of Customer research. 
  • Working closely with more experienced Global Product Managers and the Business Development team to define strategic product/technology gaps.  May assist to identify potential partners and acquisitions to fill identified gaps. 
  • Working closely with Product Development teams, providing customer needs (critical customer requirements) input.  Along with Program Manager and Systems Engineer, collaborating on cost/benefit analysis and solution feature set.  Being an active team member, professionally completing assigned NPD process documentation.
  • Working with Marketing Communication and Product Marketing Specialist team members, collaborate on the development of multi-media marketing programs to support lead generation and advance prospects to sales.  Contributing to training of sales, including direct sales and channel partners.
  • Assisting with price review program for assigned products, including conducting benchmarking activities.  Recommending price levels.  Implementing updated pricing.
  • Providing information that will be used to create demand forecasts and market intelligence to Operations to optimize balance between customer service levels, working capital, and capacity utilization.

  • Pursuing an MBA
  • Product Marketing fundamentals
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written communication skills
  • Creative thinker with a strong propensity for problem solving
  • Continuous learner driven to succeed and achieve significant results

Preferred

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale)
