Material Handler I at TSI

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for receiving and issuing materials, cycle counting, and stowing and picking material within the stockroom. A Material Handler I will be assigned to a specific area in receiving or the stockroom. 

 

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will be responsible for:

  • Supply assigned work cell(s) with the parts needed to support the production build.
  • Process the appropriate transactions into SAP.
  • Receive, locate, and change location of parts.
  • Pull jobs, replenish bins, and put away product in the stockroom.
  • Process sub-contract orders.
  • Process stock returns.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Completes other assignments and special projects as requested.

 

What Do You Need?
Required

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience

  • 6 months experience relating to receiving, picking/packing, distribution or warehouse.

 

Desired

Knowledge

  • Ability to learn and understand how to complete a task in a short period of time
  • Ability to work well as a team member to accomplish group goals
  • General computer skills using MS operating system
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and people from other departments
  • Above average math, reading, writing and reasoning skills
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing environment
  • Willing and able to work in other areas of distribution as needed

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $38,480 - $41,600 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
