North America Controller at TSI
The North America Controller position is responsible for providing leadership and coordination of company financial reporting, financial controls, and budget management functions for TSI Shoreview. Responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records, reporting, and operations.  Ensure company accounting procedures conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. 

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will:

• Direct the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Consolidate monthly global financial reporting for multi-company and multi-currency reporting group.
• Monitor, analyze, and explain operating results against budget. Present findings to senior management, banking group, and board of directors.
• Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
• Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and monitor the effectiveness of control systems.
• Oversee daily operations of the finance department
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial performance of divisions and departments.
• Hold department managers accountable for the financial goals for which they are responsible.
• Assist with global treasury functions such as maintaining appropriate bank account controls, transaction approval levels, technological passcode devices, and list of signatories.
• Assist in annual planning, budgeting and monthly forecasting.
• Assist in assessment, valuation, transactions, and integration of business acquisitions.
• Maintain, calculate, and distribute all incentive payment programs.
• Establish and implement short- and long-range department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department’s goals and objectives. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
• Other duties are assigned. 

What Do You Need?
Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in senior level financial or accounting positions
• 3-5 years of supervisor/manager experience

Desired

• CPA
• Experience as a Controller or similar position
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment

Pay & Benefits: Competitive market salary from $170,000 - $200,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
