Production Specialist III at TSI

The Product Specialist supports customers, sales and channel readiness acting as a technical resource in the area of product knowledge and application, conducting product training/demos and engaging on the appropriate standards committees. This individual will support Global Product Managers by engaging and participating in continuation engineering and new product development projects. They also implement marketing programs in cooperation with the marketing communications group.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will be responsible for:

• Independently develops and provides technical content to be used in communication with customers and channel partners.
• Creates and Develops content for marketing materials including literature, advertisements, sales tools, application notes, technical bulletins, Website and other programs as appropriate.
• Travels to representatives, distributors, and customers to support sales efforts, conduct training and provided demos as needed.
• Core Team Member for new product development and product launches.
• Keeps current with standards, codes, regulations, and best practices in the field.
• Develops training programs and conducts training.
• Represents TSI solutions through participation and making presentations in technical conference, trade shows, publications, seminars, and symposiums.
• Engage in Voice of Customer activities to help drive NPD and continuation projects.
• Conducts competitive analysis to better understand current market landscape.

What Do You Need?

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing or industry related field is required.

Experience

• Minimum of three years of experience in related industry for assigned products.
• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Supporting sales efforts, identifying customer needs and promoting channel readiness.
• Communicating and presenting technical information to a wide range of audiences.

Knowledge

• Deep technical knowledge in area of product application for assigned products.
• Understanding of industry standards, codes, and best practices in the field.
• Understanding of Sales and Marketing distribution channels.

TRAVEL

Must be able to travel 25%.
