JOB SUMMARY

As a Product Specialist you will support our Test & Measurement products designed to support multiple applications like environmental monitoring, Indoor Air quality solutions, HVAC system checks etc..The Product Specialist will also develop and implement marketing programs in cooperation with a Marketing Communications Specialist and a Product Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and provides information with guidance to communicate with customers and channel partners through verbal and written communication.
  • Creates and Develops initial content for marketing materials including literature, advertisements, sales tools, application notes, technical bulletins, CD-ROM’s, videos, website and other programs as appropriate
  • Travels to representatives, distributors, and customers to support sales efforts, conduct training and provided demos as needed.
  • Participate in assigned product launches.
  • Gain exposure with standards, codes, regulations, and best practices in the field
  • Develops initial content for training programs and conducts training.
  • Represents TSI solutions through participation and making presentations in technical conference, trade shows, publications, seminars, and symposiums.
  • Supports sales efforts, identifying customer needs and promoting channel readiness.
  • Communicating and presenting technical information to a wide range of audiences.
  • Review and document modifications to standard products.
  • Conduct competitive analysis through literature review and product testing
  • Assist with Beta test efforts for new products
  • Be the go to person on customer issues that Tech Support is not able to handle
  • Update product manuals
  • Completes other assignments and special projects as requested.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or industry related field required. 
  • One to three years' experience in a product support role (preferably in a technical, customer facing capacity)
  • Supporting sales efforts, identifying customer needs and promoting channel readiness.
  • Communicating and presenting technical information to a wide range of audiences.

  • Technical aptitude for product application
  • Solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and best practices in the field
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present technical information to a wide range of audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written communication skills
  • Solid analytical, decision making, problem solving and research skills
  • Continuous learner driven to succeed and achieve significant results
