Sr. Global Product Management and Marketing Manager
The Sr. Global Product Management and Marketing Manager is a key member of MSP’s senior management team, responsible for defining market opportunities and penetration strategies, identifying solutions through multi-year product roadmaps, and formulating annual downstream marketing plans enabling MSP to achieve growth objectives.  This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for leading a team of product managers and application engineers and working with marketing communications on a global basis.


The product management and marketing team is responsible for:


Upstream Product Management Functions:

  • Evaluate adjacent and new market segments. Develop market segment revenue potential. Identify and propose market-based solutions offering growth potential.

  • Conduct and coordinate market research, competitive assessments, and Voice of Customer research.

  • Work to define strategic product/technology gaps. Identify potential partners and acquisitions to fill identified gaps. Engage in M&A conversations as needed.

  • Develop and update product line roadmaps.

  • Develop business cases for identified opportunities that include revenue potential, market risks, uncertainties, product customer requirements, cost targets, pricing and collaborating with engineering on cost/benefit analysis of solution feature set.

Downstream Marketing Functions:

  • Develop tactical marketing and annual go to market plans resulting in reaching bookings objectives.  This includes oversight and budget accountability of advertising, exhibitions, promotions, pricing, and departmental expense plan.

  • Lead product life cycle management including annual pricing, incremental improvements, and obsolescence planning.

  • Coordinate Marketing Communication efforts on the development of multi-media marketing programs to support lead generation and advance prospects to sales. Contribute to training of direct sales and channel partners.

  • Analyze financial performance of released products. Make ROI-based decisions on continuation engineering activities and margin improvement opportunities.

Travel to support activities such as VOC efforts, sales and channel partner training, new product launches, and visiting customers and potential business partners (10-25%).


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple direct reports including product managers and application engineers.

  • Coordinate global marketing communication efforts.

  • Staff development including career development, coaching, and mentoring plans.

  • Conduct annual performance reviews and compensation recommendations.

  • Develop annual product management and marketing budgets.

What Do You Need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science, Business, or Marketing
  • 10+ years of progressive management experience exhibiting increased levels of responsibility in scope

  • Demonstrated Product Management and Marketing experience

  • 3+ years of Supervisory experience

  • Proven ability to deliver revenue growth

  • Semiconductor processes and/or equipment experience


  • MBA

  • OEM customer experience

  • International Business experience

  • Operational experience (manufacturing, technical support, engineering)

  • P&L Management experience
