We are proud of the wide range of solutions we provide that solve our customer’s problems around the world. Sr. Global Product Manager – Semiconductor at TSI
The Sr. Global Product Manager is responsible for growing TSI’s technology presence within the global semiconductor ecosystem of suppliers and fabs. TSI has industry-leading technology for measuring contaminants in liquids and gases. This role will develop the strategies to enable TSI technology to become the leading and preferred measurement technology for the semiconductor market.

The Sr. Global Product Manager provides strategic input to the product roadmap, executes on projects defined in the roadmap, and participates as a key member on new product development teams. The role is responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, conducting Voice of Customer (VOC), developing value propositions, and associated business and customer product requirements. The Sr. Global Product Manager leads the requirement definition for new product development (NPD) efforts. The natural initial focus of the role will be for products to serve the semiconductor market, but TSI products are also applicable to many other markets.

This role works closely with internal departments, including Product Development, Business Development, Downstream Marketing, Sales, and Marketing Communications, in the definition and execution of planned initiatives designed to optimize growth and profitability of TSI’s Particle Instruments products. This position is responsible for managing product strategy and roadmaps, including hardware, software and services, and for meeting annually established financial and strategic objectives, set by the Business Director.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will:

  • Lead strategy and execute initiatives to establish TSI spray drying and particle counting technologies as a standard within the semiconductor ecosystem of suppliers. Identify and develop trusted relationships and partnerships across the industry and align internal TSI resources (engineering, applications, sales) to establish TSI technology into key semiconductor companies.
  • Annual strategic planning — translate semiconductor drivers (fab roadmaps, node transitions, competitive trends) into NPD strategy and project priorities that keep contamination detection ahead of the most advanced nodes.
  • Analyze market drivers, technology developments, intellectual property landscape, regulatory drivers, and competitor positioning of assigned product line segments. Lead new product development strategy and project priorities, based on findings.
  • Develop business cases for identified opportunities, including revenue potential, market risks and uncertainties, and collaborate with engineering and sales to develop ROI estimates for recommended product/service proposals.
  • Lead cross-functional innovation teams to develop new product and service strategies. Encourage free thinking and collaboration amongst the team, but make sure that they remain focused on the business objective you have provided.
  • Conduct and coordinate market research, competitive assessments, and Voice of Customer research. Travel, as needed, to support activities, such as VOC efforts, training, new product launches, and visiting customers and potential business partners.
  • Work closely with Product Development teams, providing customer needs (critical customer requirements) input. Along with Project Manager and Systems Engineer, provide leadership to the Product Development team and collaborate with lead customers to prove out our solutions and ensure success in the market. Be an active team member, professionally completing assigned NPD process documentation.
  • Analyze financial performance of released products. Make ROI-based decisions on continuation engineering activities and margin improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Downstream Marketing on sales training, go-to-market plans, and pricing models. Build strong cross-functional relationships throughout the global organization to maximize influence, without direct authority.
  • Partner with Business Development team to define strategic product/technology gaps. Identify potential collaboration partners and acquisitions to fill identified gaps.
